EHV PROGRAM EXTENSION

​​​​​The Housing Authority of DeKalb County has received additional funding from HUD for the EHV Program through July 31, 2026.

Additional payments are not expected after this date. At this time, based on the information available, there are no additional funds to cover housing assistance payments starting August 1, 2026.

What does this mean:

• If HUD does not provide additional funding, your housing assistance will end, including the contract between your landlord and HADC, on July 31, 2026.
  
• If you decide to stay in your assisted unit after funding is not available, you will be responsible for the full contract rent.

​​​​​​​​​​​​​We suggest that you start thinking about your
housing options and other resources now.

HADC will keep you informed as new information becomes available.
